The new SST Interbus scanner connects I/O Interbus to Rockwell Automation's Allen Bradley ControlLogix controller.

Most important features are: Incorporates the last generation 4 firmware (G4), incl. support for InLine and Loop 2 and supports interface devices of 2 Mbauds as well as 500 Kbauds; uses PCP Interbus v.4.0; the serial port supports CMD tools (Configure, Monitor, Diagnose) for Interbus G4 features; I/O Interbus is easily mapped into the CLX processor's Input and Output tables and the scanner supports asynchronous scan mode.

Hardware specifications: max. no. slave devices are 512; operating temperature range from 0 to +50º C; 512 Kbytes Flash memory for storage of parameter data and a Phoenix Contact USC/4-1 controller for Interbus functions; equipped with a 9 pin standard Interbus D connector and a 9 pin serial connector for upload of software and CMD; has COMM, SYS and OK LEDs for immediate notification of I/O or network errors.
