DeviceNet PowerMonitor

The PowerMonitor is a standard component with an integrated small, potent microprocessor, which monitors in real-time the power quality at any cable junction.

It is possible to certify new DeviceNet installations, accelerate maintenance and reparation tasks and avoid downtime.

Typically, 3 PowerMonitors are installed in the network: an intelligent T near the supply and an intelligent terminator at each end of the cable.

The microprocessor constantly measures several conditions and indicates in 4 leds the diagnostic of the last 24 hours of functionning. The diagnostic can be deleted (Reset) in order to start a new.

The leds indicate:

  • Green: good working voltage level.
  • Red: too high voltage.
  • Blue: too low voltage.
  • Yellow: excessive noise.
