The Brodersen Controls telemetric equipment allows you to transfer process signals from remote/isolated sites to a central control room (PC) via radio, telephone (PSTN) or by mobile telephone network (GSM etc.).

The remote site could be just a few kilometers away or in another country, or indeed, another continent. It does not matter, telemetry can span the globe.

With its 480 Kbytes memory, the RTU8 Compact Outstation offers data logging facility and real-time clock for time stamping of historical events.

The communication to the RTU8 is based on a master/slave principle, Modbus protocol, where a standard PC (master) can communicate with a large number of RTU8s (slaves).

A very important feature of the RTUs is the modular design which makes it possible to offer RTUs tailored to meet customers specific requirements.

The SMS facility is totally integrated in the RTUs and it is possible to communicate directly with a mobile phone. Pre-recorded messages can be sent via a GSM modem capable of sending SMSs.

The RTUs offer solutions for companies working on telemetry projects for utilities - water, gas and electricity - as well as areas like traffic, telecommunications and environmental monitoring, alarms and data communication.
