dPCs
is a high level programming language, which can be compared with
a set of very flexible building elements. Each element is a self
contained, highly functional unit and the elements can be combined
in almost arbitrary ways to build a required process control application.
Using dPCs, a user without programming experience can easily program
his own control application. With dPCs it is possible to solve both
simple and very complex digital and analog process control tasks.
The dPCs system run on all types of PCs, from a
small PC/XT (Intel 8086/88) to the largest, most powerful PC Workstation
(Intel 80286/386/486/?86, Pentium) and Industrial PCs.
True Real-Time Preemptive Multitasking with built-in
Communication Network facilities is the machine behind the powerful
object oriented programming language.
The system is very flexible with regard to a user's
choice of process interface. dPCs includes program modules (I/O
drivers) for a range of process input/output hardware.
