Ethernet Connector
The industry's first IP67 sealed RJ-45 connector
extends Ethernet from boardroom to the factory floor. Ethernet offers
strong benefits in a manufacturing environment, including lower
hardware costs, ease of maintainability and simplified data flow
to the enterprise system, but is rarely used at this level because
the physical media is not designed to withstand abusive environments.
The patent-pending RJ-Lnxx™ family solves this problem by combining
the industrially proven mini form factor with standard RJ-45 technology
to seal out contaminants and also protect against the effects of
vibration and accidental disconnection. This design is not only
a perfect solution for factories but also other harsh applications
like oil fields, stadium & concert halls, railroads and marinas.
RJ-Lnxx™ connectors are compatible with either
10 Base-T or 100 Base-TX systems and are flexible enough to allow
use with either commercial RJ-45 or Industrial Ethernet components.
Cordsets are constructed of category 5 cable and are available in
a number of lengths and connector configurations. Field attachable
versions enable the installer to connect the exact right length
of cable at the network site.
The RJ-Lnxx™ connector is the first in a series
of products in the RJ-Lnxx™ family, designed to bring the benefits
of Ethernet connectivity to areas where wet, dirty and electrically
noisy conditions previously precluded its use.
