Anybus® Wireless Bridge Ethernet - WLAN Dual Band 2.4/5 Ghz provides a proven wireless connection between Industrial Ethernet installations. It acts as a cable replacement gateway and is ideal for communication through hazardous areas, hard-to-reach locations or with moving installations where cables are not desirable. It provides a wireless range of up to 400 meters.

SEEMLESSLY BRIDGING TCP/IP ETHERNET

The solution makes it possible to operate leading TCP/IP based industrial Ethernet networks, such as BACnet/IP, EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP and PROFINET, over a wireless connection.

FIND INTERFERENCE FREE RADIO CHANNELS

Since the WLAN Bridge supports Dual-Band 802.11a/b/g/n you can easier identify interference-free channels and connect to networks that utilize both the Wi-Fi 2.4 and the 5 GHz radio bands.

The external antenna lets you freely select where to position the Wireless Bridge, for example inside a metal cabinet. Also, since the antenna is omnidirectional you do not need to align the units for optimal wireless connectivity.

REDUNDANT OPERATION FOR CRITICAL APPLICATIONS

By combining WLAN and Bluetooth, you are able to provide a redundant operation for critical applications with a hand over time, of 1-2msec.
